How you can raise a concern
You do not need to know which safeguarding professional to contact. Tell a member of the practice team that you have a safeguarding concern and we will make sure it is passed to the appropriate person.
In person
Speak to reception or another member of the practice team and ask to speak to the safeguarding team.
By telephone
Call 01622 756 721 and ask to speak to the safeguarding team.
Emergency
If there is an immediate risk of serious harm, call 999.
What happens when you raise a concern?
We will listen to your concern and consider what support or action may be appropriate. Information is handled sensitively and shared only when there is a lawful and appropriate reason to do so.
Safeguarding sometimes requires information to be shared with other agencies to protect someone from harm. We will work within relevant legal and professional requirements.

Will my information be kept confidential?We handle information sensitively and in accordance with confidentiality and data protection requirements. In safeguarding situations, information may need to be shared where there is a lawful basis and it is necessary to protect someone from harm.
What if I am worried about someone right now?If there is immediate danger or someone needs urgent emergency assistance, call 999. If the concern is urgent but not an emergency, contact the appropriate local service or the practice as soon as possible.
